Mini sat dish
Does anyone know anything about mini satellite dishes such as I've seen French truck drivers use? These are put in the open window of the truck and allow instant reception. Freeview would mean no licence would be needed in UK I think. Specifically which firm's products are worthwhile. Linzi.

I'm not too sure what you'tre asking. Are you talking about a satellite receiver? Freeview and freesat are diferent things. If it's a satellite dish/receiver then I don't think you'd get much reception in UK with a small thing. Freeview comes through a normal TV aerial. BTW, both these systems require a TV licence in UK, although I doubt you'll ever get a detector van at the side of your tent checking you :). Also, if you've a TV licence for the house you won't need one for a portable system on the road, I think. P.S. is this what you are after? It's 40cm in size. No Idea
Sorry, I was asking on behalf of a friend and quoted him. Stand corrected. Yes, he wants to receive in a camper van. Just as Manuel said,"I know nothing". Linzi.
