OK, just back from 6 months in South America. I broke just about everything, matter of fact, one fellow rider nicknemed me "El Destructo". Instead of complaining about what broke, I thought I'd offer my praise for what didn't!

The following items performed amazingly well, and, IMHO, deserve parise:

REI 1/2 dome tent. Never leaked!
HP laptop, survived the whole trip!
Leatherman
Petzel headlamp
Metzler Tourances
Held gloves
custom ear plugs
Apple IPOD!!!!!
