Fraser,

I'd be interested to know if you've managed to put this properly to the test yet.

Did you get collered for any import duty ??

fraser2312 9 Apr 2014 07:15

I haven't put it through its paces yet however I am away with the bike at the end of the month and will report back. I never got hit with any import duty.

Big Yellow Tractor 9 Apr 2014 07:55

Cheers for that.

Remember, once you've set it up, not to 'drop' into it! - it has a max weight limit and that does not include it accelerated by gravity!!

I'm still in the 'sit where I land' category... I sit on carrier bags and logs usually.

with those flimsy legs, I bet the whole thing would collapse the first time I set my 200lbs down on it.

pbekkerh 21 Apr 2014 19:59

The original will take 200lbs. no problem.

I can confirm that; my mate has one and he's a chunky b'stard. I have seen him flop drunkardly into it without any damage.

I took a punt and ordered the copy/rip-off/clone. I'll give some feedback when or if it arrives.

Got back yesterday from a few days on the West Coast of Scotland.

The chair was perfect, it didn't let me down and I found it really comfortable. You've got to be carefully where you choose to sit otherwise the legs will sink into the ground, like the original. I know this is a bit brief but it's a seat and it done it's job very well.

I'll try and keep this updated. So far so good. :thumbup1:

chair feedback ?

hiya guys ....well are the chairs still alive ? they do look very flimsy side to side for my lardy ass ? lol :scooter:

pbekkerh 26 Nov 2014 11:16

Mine has no problems.

Big Yellow Tractor 27 Nov 2014 07:47

Mine seems fine. Compared side by side, I can't find much difference between the two. Both do suffer from the same problem though; small feet which easily sink into soft ground.
