IMO Computer - flat battery
 

The internal lithium battery in my IMO R300 computer has gone flat which means each time you switch the bike on it has lost its memory and you have to go through all the parameterization screens on the computer.

The manual says to return the unit to the factory for battery replacement, but surely it can't be too hard to do yourself.

I had a look inside the unit, the circuit boards are kind of glued in place with hot melt. If anyone has had a go at this before please tell me, if I break the glue away will it allow me access to the battery? Is there anything in particular I need to be careful of.
