Inexpensive alarm from Aldi this week
In the past I've had bike alarms where they were manufacturer options.
I've just bought one of the inexpensive £8.99 alarms from Aldi to stick through the brake rotor on my 690 Enduro. https://www.aldi.co.uk/fileadmin/fm-...unday_UL19.jpg Connect the hasp one way round and the alarm is activated, connect the other way and it's not. Nice and simples. It seems no motorcycle chain is ultimately strong enough to endure a sustained attack, but this alarm is nice and loud and would alert me and others in the vicinity to a problem. So it's one of a panoply of security options. |
I've wondered about getting something like this to lock on the frame out of sight. I've already got an alarmed disc lock but if that gets defeated the frame alarm would go off if the bike was moved.
