looking for surfracks for motorcycles
does anyone know of a surfboard rack sidecar or overhead style that can fit on a variety of bikes? I am travelling in Southern France/Spain and need to transport a surfboard while there. Just for short runs but I believe that a trailer style board rack might be too light. Any advice from the surf community? feel free to Email me at link above. Thanks in advance!

He makes large bike racks which should take a surfboard. Perhaps you could copy the design?I would have thought it would be really difficult in crosswinds? Tim [This message has been edited by Tim Wood (edited 08 June 2004).] |
I consider carrying a surfboard on a bike dangerous. You may get stopped by police and prevented from continuing.
Your options then are: a small trailer a sidecar a car ------------------ Salut from Southern France, the bikers' paradise, Peter. |
Thanks, I am looking for a sidecar mounted rack I have seen in Hawaii but believe it was custom made. The crosswind can be a bit tricky but a trailer is too light and is a real danger at speeds over 30km. Brackets of the frame with a "v" facing up to mount the board is what I was hoping for. Thanks for te input, KB
