Looking to upgrade Helmet... Shoei Multi Tech???
Have my eye on the Shoei Multi-Tech and was wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with it. Is it worth the price or is the Nolan of similar features the better choice? I have searched but didn't find too much..
Thanks in Advance.... |
There is a ton out there if you look around.

Multitec helmet.
I have been wearing a Shoei multitec for the last 12 months and can recommend it. I agree with the previous comment about the fit getting loose after a while, when i buy another one i will get a size smaller. My helmet cost me £220 at the NEC bike show. As for the HJC helmets the one i owned was far too fragile for everyday use especially the visor mechanism which broke on mine and a friends both with the same fault. After trying most makes of helmet both budget and expensive i have found Shoei to be the best for me.:thumbup1:

Hi JHAlaska. I too have a Multitec and find it very comfortable. I would also seriously consider getting a size smaller next time as it does 'give' over time. I tried the Caberg flip front's as well but they didn't fit my head nearly as nicely as the Shoei.

SHARP - The Helmet Safety Scheme I see the Caberg Trip gets top marks here... |
Many Thanks for the information and advice. Especially the mention of the Caberg. I am going to do some research on that helmet. Looks like a good buy. The fact that it got high marks is what makes me lean towards this one. Thanks again.:thumbup1:
