MM panniers
I wonder whether anyone is using the same size litre boxes on both sides in the standard configuration (without the replacement exhaust)? This would mean one side slightly wider than the other. If yes, how does this affect your riding? I appreciate that it all depends on how you load them (weight wise), but I'm interested in anyone's opinion if they do this.
I've just spoken to Metal Mule about a balanced system for my new AT, and they can't apparently create a balanced system due to the lack of relevant linkages for the exhaust pipe. Thanks in advance. Edit - it will be the crf1000l. |
Which AT do you run. New or old?
If you have an older model, HeavyDuties has racks that are quite narrow as they require a thinner oval muffler. You can get the panniers in various sizes. If you have the newer AT model, then HeavyDuties offers assymetric racks, as well as crashbars. https://www.facebook.com/pg/heavydut...75370525888171 https://scontent-yyz1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...5f&oe=58FF8FF1 https://scontent-yyz1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...49&oe=594B4A54 https://scontent-yyz1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...1d&oe=590EBB04 |
