Pocket blowtorch - what's it for?

Santa gave me a blowtorch the size of a cigarette lighter. It claims a 1300 C flame and I'm wondering if it has any uses for bike repair, e.g. brazing, bending, welding or heat-shrinking. Any ideas?

It’s a handy to keep in your pocket like a Swiss knife. I use it on the bike, Jeep and at home. Just don’t expect too much. Burning wire insulations and striping wires, heating and bending plastics, heat shrinks, electrical wire welding, starting a campfire, etc…

Great for starting camp fires, 10x better in the wind the conventional lighters or Zipoes.
