Bike Luggage - I found these!
 

Found these on the web from a UK company that I have had many POSITIVE dealings with (Getgeared.co.uk) -

For 60 Quid thats not bad.... dont know how it would handle prolonged of road/ Long Term Abuse but not bad as a starter set.

I am not quite sure of the British pound and Euro exchange rat, but assuming 1 Pound = 1.3 Euros, that would still make it cheaper!

I also got mine from Louis, exact same ones apparently.
They have special offers sometimes, mine cost 50 euros for the whole set, plus 20 euros flat rate postage within the EU.

Looks very good, and cheap. but dont know as someone else said how much off road riding it would take if you do any. or abuse

Nothing is waterproof, but they don't make a big play in the blurb for the water-resistance properties.

I've got my soft luggage, so someone else can dig in to these and write an equipment review later.

In all fairness, I don't think any soft luggage is up to serious off-road use.

I bought this luggage set last year. It does a really good job, appears to be just as durable as the Oxford tankbag I've got, so no complaints from me. If I came off the bike and trashed them, I'd definitely have another set.

I rode from the Nurburgring to Zandvoort in approx 3 1/2 hours of rain that can only be described as "pissistant" and my kit inside was dry. You do get rain covers with them but as with all soft luggage, I think you'd lose them fairly quickly.

The top bag is ok but I rarely use it as I think it affects stability too much at motorway speeds. The panniers if fitted by themselves show no significant effect on stability at a steady 100mph and are ok up to 120mph for overtaking.

The panniers themselves have reflective markings and a side pocket which I used to carry my ratchet straps for the ferry. They also have expansion zips for bigger loads.

Apart from the rain covers, you also get a number of straps, quick release buckles and a bridging piece to go over the pillion seat. This bridging piece was fine when fitted to my old Ducati Supersport and is a good idea if it's suitable for your bike. However, it ran out of adjustment and couldn't lift the right pannier far enough away from the exhaust on my ZX6-R (see above). This wasn't a major problem as there are a number of attachment points for straps and an alternative method was used to secure them (I will take photo's if required). Louis are to look at this on any updated versions though I don't consider it a major problem.
