Good KTM 620 Mirrors needed...?
I am looking for some replacement mirrors for my KTM 620. The old ones are heavy and vibrate loose constantly! Anyone know of a good mirror I could use as a replacement. Much thanks for any help.

Have you tried blue locktite to keep the mirrors from vibrating loose? I got some generic mirrors that are lighter for mine, cant remember the name, for about $15.00 at the dealer. Not the best, but good enough for what I do.

I use the Dual-Star ones on my KTM 640 Adventure. They attach to the handlebars directly on not on the threaded clamps that mirrors are meant to attach to. http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Equi...le_mirror3.htm
The good: - there is no way these mirrors will break - there is no possibility of breaking those clamps that hold the clutch cable assembly, etc... The bad: - you can't see very much out of them, especially with luggage - if they are convex like the company claims, I can't see it The ugly: - they look ridiculous on a touring bike, though for some reason all the Japanese thought they were cool when I was there ------------------ Improvement makes strait roads, but the crooked roads without Improvement, are roads of Genius - William Blake |
