Shipping Tyres

Hi,

I'm planning to ship some tires from Germany to Asia, to pick them up later during my trip.
Couple of questions:

Has anyone got recommendations about which service to use (DHL, FedEx, UPS,...)
How heavy is a rear tyre, say a 17 inch TKC80?
