Tank Bag for a Safari Tank?
 

I have a 2009 DR 650 all ready for a july 2010 trip to South America all
except for a tank Bag to hold my camera and stuff , does anyone know
which bags will fit on the safari tank that is not to bulky because the tank is already huge I also have a corbin seat with that and my wife has the IMS litre tank with the corbin seat.

Yo. I have a Wolfman tank bag for my DR 650 with the large Aqualine tank. It was called the Explorer (I think) when I bought it in 08 but it seems to have been renamed the Rainier.

This is the largest bag Wolfman makes. Super bag for the Aqualine/DR combo. The fit was strong and secure, never had a problem with movement, or interference with riding. I ran this bag 14,000 miles from Morocco to Cape Town over plenty of tough roads and it took a beating. Two thumbs up.

I customized slightly with velcro on the straps that remain on the bike when the tank is off. That way I could velcro the straps together at the seat and up by the instrument cluster keep them neatly together.

Also used the "large pockets" and "tank bag top pocket" you can find on the Accessories page at the Wolfman site. Both are great. My only complaint is the "large pockets" should be standard equipment because the pockets that come on the stock bag are too small.

Hi Michael,
I also have a safari on my DR and use the Rainier as well. Fits no problem and I leave the straps around the fuel cap and around the seat permanently on.

i also have a dr 650 se.. u mentioned a seat.. can u tell me what is a Corbin seat ??

The wolfman Enduro bag will fit ! I can't imagine a tank it wont fit by the way its fitted.

It's small though.
