Animal products are pretty much everywhere and not easy to identify. So, good for the OP for starting this thread to help those with vegan/vegetarian ethical convictions. We are world travellers and need to be open to those who are different from ourselves. We wouldn't, at least not openly, ridicule those looking for ways to avoid alcohol while on the road (a recent HUBB thread); those looking for tips on remaining Kosher or Halal while on the road, etc. This is no different.

I wish all my vegan/vegetarian brethren and sistren (made up word) the best of luck living according to their personal ethical path.

A quick Google search (vegan tires) this morning yielded a tremendous amount of information which will most likely be useful to some.

If the op wants another manufacturer to contact, Cordial makes the OEM tire that came on my Chinese built Benelli here in Honduras. I will have to say that the tire is absolute garbage and in the wet it skates all over the road at the slightest lean or hint of brake. My heart was pounding on the way to work at 7am this morning in a light drizzle. I've never seen a tire perform so poorly.
