waterproof tail bags for r1200GS

What's everyone using for a fully waterproof soft tail bag these days?

List some options, must be waterproof not just water resistant.

thanks in advance

I am going to try the Lomo 40lt hold-all this year. They look great and a very good price

Thanks, checked their site. Their 15L bag may work, certainly waterproof. The 40L would be too big as a tail bag.

Surely with the amount of knowledegable people here, there's more people with recommendations based on their own experiences with tail bags.

No one else has suggestions from experience on a waterproof tail bag? :(

Lomo is good stuff. But not as good as Ortlieb.

I swear by the Ortlieb Rack packs.

They come in a few sizes. I think the 49L one is the most practical though. I use it for all my camping gear and tool rolls.

Everyone is making these now though . Oxford etc.

They work best with these straps.

The couple of Lomo ones I've got are ok but the material goes very stiff and cardboard like in low temperatures. But they are cheap. They're my go-to's in the summer months but for the winter I tend to use a 25L bad I got from Lidl a few years back. £8.99 (or was it £9.99?) and slightly awkward to pack but a much more flexible material. All of them are waterproof to the point of surviving submersion.

My Lone Rider panniers are roll top waterproof but the idea is to get a tail bag that's not roll top like the bags or the orlieb type products.

I found this, looks like it's the right size for a tail bag and comes with a waterproof cover. Easy in and out quick access so I may go with this one.

What type are you looking for(top or side load)? Tusk puts out great backs if you're not hooked on having to have a big name brand and want to save some money
