xt1200z Super tenere Yamaha Best Crash Bar $ for Value
 

Hello there, I have finally put my hands on a xt1200z years 2014, I need to install crash bars asap as I know it will fall at least once off road and then I will cry like a baby..... so.... I had a look around, Altrider crash bar to me they look the best but are very expensive compared ti Givi or other out there


what do you think is best?


I am looking for just a drop protection as I know if I (touch wood ) crash there isn't any crash bar that will not bend under the huge force on impact

Ive got the altrider bars on my xt1200z and i am happy with them - they are pretty substantial and feel quality.

I can't speak for the alternatives I'm afraid but the bars i have on my xt660z had been less robust so quality clearly varies.
