Bio diesel in Colombia! How are you dealing with it?
 

The last 2 months we are travelling in Colombia. We have a Toyota Hiace D4D 2.5 campervan (model 2009). Its has a EURO4 engine.

Here in Colombia all diesel is biodiesel with 5-10% vegetable oil in it. All the sources we asked and researched come to verify it except the poor attendants at the gas stations.

-Es puro diesel? No biodiesel?
-Si señor!

So, except of changing the fuel filter and clean the injectors more often with additives, what else are you doing?

BTW, we use PROTEC/ POWERMAXX/ BLUECHEM for cleaning the common rail every 5000-7000 kms. (same company, same stuff, different brands depending on the region)
