Crossing the Atlantic Sahara in a Lada Cossack.
So having read many journals and taking into acount the Plymouth Banjul has never had a Lada failing the crossing, I though I'd go for one to cross down to Gambia and then further afield later on.
Has anyone experience or any information regarding using ladas to cross the Western route? Any information no matter how small would be appreciated. Regards. Gav. |

Well, just spend some time with my Niva1600 in the Marocon desert - working constantly in reductor / bloc can assure it´s heavy work for a Niva but would be enchanted hearing of some one doing some great crossing in a Niva

You may have difficulties to find petrol in RIM bet Nouadibou and Nouakchott. I may be a good idea to carry some extra with you. However, being petrol pretty sensitive I remind you to be careful, a friend recently lost his vehicle in Libya.
