Time for 6 new tyres for the landy.

Are the newer Michelin XZY 3 tyres the same as the old XZY's?

From looking at the images of XZY compared with XZY3 the tread pattern has changed and I think they are slightly wider (5%) slightly deeper tread 4% If thats any help

Michelin XZY now named Michelin Agilis HD
 

In Austraia, the original Michelin XZY tyre replacement is the Michelin Agilis HD. The HD is the Heavy Duty version of the Agilis tyre. This has a slightly different tread pattern to the XZY but otherwise still has the same rugged 14 ply tyre with 4 ply steel tread and 1 ply steel sidewall.

I believe they are XZY*, not XZY3 in 7.50R16

The XZY* in 750r16 is still the new tread pattern i believe . The XZL is another option bit more offroad oriented HTSH
