VISA'S: West Africa. Border or embassy?
 

I'm about to drive from Amsterdam to Accra in West Africa, taking the coast route. Some tips about how to obtain the visa's?

I heard it's better to buy it at the border. Do you have to wait then or is it more expensive compared to buying them beforehand (for example in your homecountry or in the country before you cross the border)?

Wich countries should be avoided recently?
