2010 Isle of Man TT

Well its that time of the year again, anyone else going to the TT?.
This year I will again be taking my Ford Transit which will carry my crf230 for offroading, and this year I am taking my YBR125 (that I will probably be using for Ripley), to use on the roads, if you have never been over, you don't know what you're missing! Look out for coverage on TV, I don't know what channels yet but BBC Northwest or BBC Northern Ireland are 'good' places to start.

Thanks Chris, I always love the Island:tt1: whatever the weather, although if the weather stays like it is now we could well see numerous 130+ mph laps:eek3:
I know you, Grant ,Susan and some of the others have been for the TT, perhaps one of you could put into words better or video clips what the atmosphere is like?
?c?

Fantastic film clips you took there, do people realise that it was all taken one one circuit, 37.73miles long?
Love the sidecars especially the clip you have of Dave Molyneux on the Honda on 'full chat'.
Unfortunately, as a Marshal I am not permitted to use a camera/video whilst the practice/racing is going on, and the downside nowadays is alot of the spectator vantage points you have in the film are now either restricted or prohibited areas due to 'Health and Safety' brought about after the 2007 tragic incident at the 26th milestone, which claimed the lives of one rider two spectators and resulted in two Marshals being seriously injured, one of which had her leg amputated.
This incident occurred during the last laps of the last race of the TT, of which had been a major incident free TT that year, now we are faced with risk assessments etc, especially after a sector Marshal was initially charged over the 'incident' when she was nowhere near the crash scene at the time!
