Anybody ever use rentalmotorbike.com?? (Munich Germany rentals anyone?)

Trying to rent a bike in Munich Germany. The prices are a little steep most places. I found this company online and they have good prices but I can't for the life of me get a response out of them. The phones answer with an automated system that goes nowhere (if it answers at all) and they are not replying to e-mails?

Anybody ever heard or them? Ever used them? Know of any other companies where I can get a bike Monday to Friday for under $300 Euros?

Have you tried ringing this number in Spain +34 938 770 001 It's on the bottom of the website. Possibly the head office. ?

I just found that number on their facebook page. Got no answer though. In the mean time I did just get an email reply. Daniel replied and said they are actually moving their office to a new location today and the service is being impacted. I replied to his message and requested a phone call. There is a lot to discuss with a rental specially when you start discussing road side assistance scenarios and the likes.

If anybody else is reading and have used this company before I would love to her about your experience. It would help me a lot to know about this company from someone who has had first hand experience before I do business with them.

It looks to me like they are just a booking agent for a variety of smaller companies, and if you can figure out who they handle bikes for, you can cut out the middle-man.

For example, while looking at their prices, bikes, and locations in Australia, it sure looks to me as though they may be renting the same bikes from the exact same locations as Garner Motorcycle Hire - but adding a fee on top. If you want to rent a Honda CB250, these internet guys want $1900 US for 4 weeks, but Garner want $1750 US for 30 days....

YMMV... Do a bit more Googling on Munich rentals. Try searching not just for motorcycle and rental, but also motorbike and hire; you may find you get some hits with one search that you don't with the other.

Thanks for the reply B. I thought the same thing about them being booking agents however I haven't been able to figure out where they are getting their bikes from yet. Every other rental shop I have found have been significantly more expensive (almost double).

I'll try those search tips plus DuckDuckGo.com doesn't filter search results like google does so I have also been using that hoping it might hit on some underrated sources google looks over.

Ultimately I was hoping the power of the HUBB might be able to hook me up with some of the insiders info and help me get my wheels on!

Just so people know what I have looked at already....

AdMo
MotoRoads
Allround
2WheelTravel
bosenberg
Black Forest Shop
Allround Vermietung (The price is right but the bikes for that price are in the wrong city)
Qrental (Their prices are also not so bad but their free milage is stingy)

motorcycle rental

I used them in Lisbon Portugal and was very happy. I had some trouble getting them to answer but they were much cheaper than anything I found. Once I got through to them everything was very smooth and professional. I was a little afraid because of the price. I think the home office is in Spain and they just contract with local bike shops in many cities but the bike was great and the local bike shop could not have been better. Cheers

rentalmotorbike dot com is only an agent.

They do not have motorcycles of their own, nor a location of their own that rents motorcycles.

They are "brokers": they cooperate with actual rental companies all over the world and they list the models and prices and terms that the actual - local - companies provide them.

So, sometimes they may not be able to answer directly to very specific questions.

They are reliable, to the point which they can handle the reservation process. Because after that, if for example you arrive at the location and you meet troubles with the actual rental company, it should not be rmb's fault.

Scammed me

I booked a Scooter through rentalmotorbike.com in Barcelona. After I paid, I did not receive any email or corrospondance telling me where to pick up the bike. I tried sending them a message but they didnt reply, even after 8 days. When I rang them, they claimed I had inputted my email address wrongly by 1 letter, hence why I did not recieve the email. I don’t buy this explanation because I am sure typed it correctly. They used this as an excuse to not provide the service I purchased. Why don't they have a 'confirm your email' process like every other website to to avoid ‘lost’ payments. Because it’s a scam. They were also very rude laughing and mocking me ‘for not checking my email’ when I contacted them on social media. While they may well be fullfilling some orders, I believe they are using this technique to scam some customers. Don’t trust them.
