Anyone been to Ukraine lately
 

I'll be driving into Ukraine in a couple of weeks. I haven't been there since the pesky Ruskies invaded.

I'll probably be visiting Sumy and Poltava

has anyone been to these areas lately, has anyone experienced any problems?

I'll be crossing the border back into Poland, hows that looking these days? first time I did it, took me 20 hours to cross!!

We were in Ukraine in June. We didn't go as far east as you plan to. But from what I hear from various Ukrainian friends I don't think you'll experience any problems. Perhaps a bit more beggars, scammers and police asking for "coffee money" but that's more down to the economic situation.

The Terlo-Kroscienko border crossing took us 1h20. Went pretty smoothly with friendly border guards on both the Ukrainian and Polish side.

Buses and cars with many people were scrutinized a lot more thoroughly, especially the ones with Ukrainian plates.
