Anyone passing through Turkey/Dogubayazit soon?

Hi,

I forgot my camera battery charger in a guesthouse in Dogubayazit in Turkey. I was wondering if anyone is going to pass through Dogubayazit soon, so they can pick it up for me in that guesthouse. (I can't find a charger like this in Iran/Central Asia and desperately need it).

The guesthouse owner knows of the problem & is waiting for instructions from my side.
Options would be to either bring the charger (if we find time to meet on the road), or pick it up & send it to me via an Express service (in which case I could make a payment via paypal for example).

My route is: Iran (12 days from now) - Turkmenistan (5 days) - Uzbekistan (3 weeks)

Thanks a lot!
Bjoern

More info pls

Hello Bjoern,
Please inform me where did you stay in Dogubeyazit (name of the place, name of the owner or contact person, telephone, e-mail, adress, whatever you find). I will try to contact them and will make them send device to me.

When we see, we can get back the device properley, I can send it to preferred destination/adress.

Cheers,

Samy

Hi Samy,

Thanks for your help with this. Are you actually travelling through Turkey/Iran, or do you live in Turkey?

Thing is: I have found a reasonable replacement today (here in Tehran), so there is no real urgency any more (though I would like to have it back at some point). Also, I still don't have a reliable forwarding address in the Stans - which makes posting difficult.

One of my mates is coming through Dogubayazit in a month's time and we'll probably meet en route in Pakistan or India. (I'm doing the Stans, he's going straight to Pakistan/India). So that would be one (late) way of getting the charger/battery back at some point.

Thanks a lot!
Bjorn
