b&b, germany, somewhere near magddeburg
 

hi! i'll be traveling to poland sometime around christmas, in summer it'll take me about 18 hours to get there from london, but 'winter of the century' is coming so i might have to stop for night somewhere around magdeburg, could someone recommend good (cheap) b&b in that area?

Hi! Turn off at Helmstedt about halfway between Braunschweig and Magdeburg. It's smaller than the other two towns. Try any "Gasthaus" or "Wirtshaus" which is something like a combination of pub plus restaurant. Usually they've got rooms to rent incl. breakfast for a reasonable price.
