Best motorbike route through Poland , Latvia , Lithuania, Estonia and Russia
Hi all
What is the best Route in those counties .interested in some famous sight seeing. Nature good roads for motorbikes. And of course some off roading (heavy loaded bike like Africa twin ) Thanks :mchappy: |
I can only comment on Poland; I've not yet been to the others. For me, Southern Poland was the more picturesque. Depending on what you'd like to see, Aushwitz is definitely worth a visit. Not a nice place to see, but an important one. Although I never went that far south, the southern boarder is supposed to be picturesque. I liked Krakov as well. I spent a great day just wandering around and looking at the sites. The other place I found to be very interesting to visit was Gdansk in the north. Lots of history with the docks. It was more interesting than I 'm making that sound! I didn't 't do any off roading, but I never travelled on what I would call a motorway either. The further north I got, the more the scenery seemed to become a little more bland. But hey, that happens everywhere at some point! I really enjoyed the country, and I never once saw another ''"Western"' biker. The whole trip was quite an experience! :thumbup1:
