BMW service needed in Berlin next week.
 

I live in Panama and I'm currently traveling Europe for 6 months. I'm currently in the Czech Republic and will be going to Berlin next week, then on to Poland, Ukraine, Rumania, Bulgaria, etc.

I need to get my bike (2005 BMW 1200RT) serviced in Berlin next week. Nothing major, just oil change, filter, and normal servicing. But I would like to get it done in Germany before going to some places where the expertise might not be as good.

I have already contacted two shops: Urban Motors who will be in Biarritz next week and not available and Roewer who told me they could not help me until August (!).

I would very much appreciate it if anyone could give me a suggestion of a good BMW mechanic in or near Berlin that I could contact about getting the servicing done. The only other complication is that I don't speak German http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...milies/sad.gif

it gives you some websites and phone numbers, including Urban and the BMW bike factory (take a tour?). Can't comment on any of the organisations listed. I'm a Brit and live in the UK, but speak German.

Many Germans speak English. Their education system tends to be far superior to their US/UK counterparts.
