thir a cargo ship company that can take a person and a motorcycle from israel(haifa port) to athens for 500$ 1 way(the trip is 3 days).
anyway my qweshtion is -can i buy a motorcycle insurance at the port in athens and what other documents do i need to bring with me?

Sorry, can't answer your question. But we would all love to know all about this shipping company. When you have done the trip please do report about it here. There have been lots of questions here about how to get out of Israel, given that Syria won't let us.

In theory I would assume that insurance should be available, seeing it is required. Come to think of it, isn't Israel part of the GC scheme? Cause in that case your insurance co. should issue you with a GC.

ther curent rates are 500$ for a motorcycle and a rider.like i said it is not a pasenger ship but the price includes a privat cabin and 3 meals.
they have ships leaving twice a week and reservations suold be made 7-10 days prior to departur.
as for my gc for some reson the israeli office refuses to issu gc to motorcycles(damn bastards)so i will probebly buy it from knoft,and if all gos well i will arive in greece in about 2 weeks time and then travel in europe for 3 to 4 month.

by the way anyone has an idea how much should be the average expence per day-sleeping on camping sites plus food and petrol for my xt 600(and a litle petrol for me-beer)???

you'll see that knofp insurance company does not cover all Europa. They cover all EU contries and some of the non-EU. As I wrote in another form page, Carole Nash insurance comp. do insurance almost for all Europa including non-EU countreies, Israel and Turkey. It might be an option for you if you send an e-mail and ask them for any advice or help. BTW, they are a UK company. Here is the link:
