Car Breakdown in Armenia
 

Hi all,

our beloved, 26 year old Mercedes van just had a nice little breakdown in Armenia just off the Iranian border. The break wouldn't want to work anymore - not ideal before crossing a stretch of high mountains I guess.
So far the local mechanics are not at all able to fix the problem.

So we have to look for alternative solutions!

We either want to try to import it in Armenia - to sell or scrap it - or trying to transport it to Georgia, where it seems easier to import and sell used cars.

Any experiences, hints or leads? Would be much appreciated!!

You can easily buy a car from Georgia and after clear customs in Armenia. There is a big car market in Rustavi how a lot of people do so. The choice is huge and it is cheaper to buy in Georgia instead of Armenia. Or you can just rent a car from Naniko rent a car temporarily until you solve your problems. There is offices in Armenia and Georgia where you can do a one way rental. Rent a car in Yerevan and throughout Armenia
