and bricking it!

Two weeks alone in spain with very little sense of where I am going - other that Pyrenees and Barcalona.

Managed to drop the bike on myself this evening. Good start.

Any last minute advice gratefully received.

My only advice would be do it and enjoy it - jealous? Oh yes :thumbup1:

Advice I can't give any as we're about to do our first trip in a week or so... 22 days through France and Spain with a stop off in Andorra. What I can say is I know how you're feeling! Our plan is to just take each day as it comes, we have no route so we're just going to see how we feel each day and decide what to do based on that. The main this is like Monsieur-to-go said: enjoy it! :)

Didn't get to the Pyrenese (bring your waterproofs, it can get wet there) and not sure how warm it'll be but in case you don't want to mile-munch :

Get yourself to Potes in the Picos and camp for a few days there. Nice hikes and great scenery.

Santander has some great beaches, pretty nice looking city.

Visit San Sebastian, camp site outside of town to west but regular buses. Lovely city and great food ('pinchos' instead of 'tapas' as its Basque).

Only drove through Comilas (just west of Santander) but looked like a beautiful old historic town.
