Nice pics. Maybe I'll follow your trail in April this year.

No probs in Albania? Most of the posts on the HUBB re Albania are very positive. You didn't leave the mainroad, did you? I should think the back-country must be quite scenic.

there are not too many 'mainroads' in albania, one is leading from shkoder to tirana.
as you can see on the traxmap, we tried a few secondary roads, but gps covering was pretty poor. additionally we were heading fore greece.
except for the bad road condition (which we regarded as a plus), the countryside is about the same as in the surrounding countries.

btw.: we found albania to be the european country with the highest SUV density/km.
