European Digital maps
Hi folks,
Has body any experiance (or knowledge of where to get hold of) of english digital topo maps that would run with memory-map or OziExplorer for the Czech Rupublic, Poland and Slovakia? I've found Soviet mapping at Digital topographic maps download - mapstor.com, that works with OziExplorer. It works ok, although I'm having to learn how to use a new type of mapping software. The biggest downside is that it is in the Cyrillic alphabet. I wondered if I can save myself a crash course in Russian! Regards Alex |
You can have a look here for Garmin compatible maps. I think they can be converted (with cgpsmapper program) for use with oziexplorer.
Maps catalogue With Oziexplorer you can also scan/digi photograph your papermaps and calibrate them in ozi if you can get 3-6 waypoints. Of course you can only see these maps on the PC, there is no routing etc. |
