Hi folks,

I'll be touring Europe July/August next year (2019) and plan a stop over in Krakow for 4 or 5 days as there seems plenty to see and do.

Looking at hotel/bed prices I'll probably treat myself to one for the duration of my stay.

However I'd like to make sure the bike is safe whilst I'm not using her. Any suggestions on secure parking? I notice a lot of the places only have on-street parking.

Of course any other suggestions for Krakow also welcome.

It's been a while since I was last there, but we stayed in an AirBNB apartment a bit on the outskirts with a view on the Wisla river. It had secure private parking and the distance to the center was walkable, or we took the tram.
Perhaps broaden your search to include airbnb option as well.

There's plenty of interesting things to see and do. I very much enjoyed the free walking tour and the subsequent guided tour through the Shindler Museum. If you want to get out of the city, the Wieliczka Salt Mine was nice. And Auschwitz is also about an hour away.

Campanile Hotel, few minutes walk from the square, has a secure underground car park.

Ibis Etap hotel was nice choice for me few years ago. You may check.
There is also nice camp ground in Krakow.

I don't know what your interests are.
The center of Krakow is the same museums and restaurants. An interesting place is Nowa Huta (old industrial zone), Kopiec Kościuszki, Kraków Kazimierz (old Jewish quarter )
There are mountains around Krakow and lots of beautiful scenic roads.
