Leaving for Torrevieja, Spain tomorrow!
 

My lovely lady friend and I are leaving for our first big trip tomorrow; we're going from our hometown of Bournemouth to Dover, then travelling through France, Andorra and Spain to reach our destination of Torrevieja. We've both got three weeks off and we're just going to take things as they come; no planned route or accommodation!

We know we've left it a little bit late maybe but we didn't really have a lot of choice due to other arrangements this year, still... I can't wait! :)

Hey guys, we're currently in La Rochelle and planning on riding south down the west coast of France tomorrow. Can anybody recommend anywhere to stay down near the France/Spain border or maybe near Pau or the Pyrenees? We can camp or hotel/B&B... either way...

If the weather is still ok, camping could well be fun, I personally often use the Formule1 chain of hotels especially if I want a earlish start the following day. try and get a 'downstairs' room much easier to unload the bike and pass thro the window(luggage-Not bike that is)!

LOL! We currently seem to be using Premiere Classe a lot, they always happen to be in the right place... We're currently in one in Tarbes, just north of the Pyrenees... south we go tomorrow morning! :)

If you get the chance whilst going over the Pyrenees(hope the weather is still good) try and pass through Llavorsi/Sort area, thats where the Pyreknees-up and Horizonsunlimited Mountain Madness have been held, great on-road riding and fantastic trails for offroading.
