Lithuania > Belarus border crossing
 

I will be crossing from Lithuania to Belarus via the Kamennyi Log / Medininkai crossing soon and am trying to find out if there are any vehicle insurance booths there as I will need to purchase insurance for my car for the few days I am in Belarus

Any help will be greatly appreciated

You don't say exactly what date you're crossing if I'm too late sorry. I crossed last month and there are insurance booths. I ended up filling out my own certificate because she couldn't find the UK on her computer, it was down as GBR. Going through the Lithuania border is obviously fast and no problem, then at the Belarus border it grinds to a halt and one has to be very patient! Good luck.

Yeah, we just got back a few days ago. Its was a very quick and easy crossing for us as my girlfriend speaks Russian and everyone was very helpful which was a nice surprise. Getting insurance and the toll machine went well too.

It really was strange paying over a million Rubles for a tank of fuel though, I never paid a million of anything before
