London: Bike Friendly Hotels?

Looking for a bike friendly hotel for a short stay in London (actually one in Dublin and one in Edinburgh as well).
Anyone know of a reasonably priced place that's good to bikers?

Departure from Calgary is May 10th with London being May 26-27 or so and then on from there via Ireland and Scotland.
Thanks!
C.J.

Lol!

 I'm sorry, that was what I thought when I read your thread: London just is not friendly, never mind for Bikes -great place to party etc etc but friendly! :rolleyes2: (before the Londoners give me grief, I did live/work there for about 2 years, but that was back in the good old days!).

Seriously, try the nearest community, over there on the left: it is a pretty big place, so someone will pop up to help.

Cheers,

London accommodation

Hi there Im a new member to hubb and saw your post.
If it helps at all
My landlady rents out a room on short term lets , one day to a week etc,.
We are both pro biker and if your interested I can ask her about a booking.
The house is in Tooting south london, the room is a double with shower, very clean organised home. Tube transport into town is 10 min walk , lots of very good restraunts ( indian, thai, Italian, Chinese) and pubs with exellent food
I think the room rents for £40 per evening i.e. £20 each. There is off road parking and generally a very safe area.

Cheers Paul

if you search for the london councils online, such as 'city of london' which is oddly the center. you can find all the bike parking online & compare it with where the hotels are. bike parking is still free in london (so far) its also free in any of the city of london carparks & they had attendants & CCTV normally so should be secure.
other than that cant help too much, id suggest asking the hotels your considering, if they want your business they'll try to help.

Hotel in Dublin.

Try the Clontarf Court Hotel in Dublin when you get here. It's about a 10 minute ride from Dublin port and ferry terminal and about 5 mins ride straight into the City Centre. All the staff there are friendly and the hotel prices are very cheap for Dublin.

The hotel looks right over Dublin Bay too so the view and area is really nice. I also live about 30 seconds walk from it and you can park your bike safely in my garden no problem for as long as you like. Anyway if I can be of any help then just let me know. Have fun over here, I think you'll really like it!
