Norway tyres
Hi,
Off to Norway in July, for two weeks, with lots of off-road, or rather riding the unsealed tracks that abound over there. Currently my bike has Michelin T66s on, which are definately at the road end of the dual sport spectrum. I would rather not go to the expense of buying new tyres for the sake of a two week holiday but also do not wish my fun to be spoilt for the want of some knobbly rubber. What do people think? I've been to Norway before and, although I didn't get much chance to off road, the tracks looked rocky and dry, rather than wet and boggy. Would I get away with the T66s or should I bite the bullet? If I need to get some knobblier tyres can someone reccomend something along the lines of the Continental TKC80 Twinduro but cheaper? Matt |
I guess it depends on one's bike and riding style. One could even ride Pilot Power off-road, but I doubt it'd be that fun. If I were to use two precious holiday weeks riding off-road, I'd invest in tyres that wouldn't spoil the fun, even if it should become a bit muddy.

Thanks,
Anyone any idea who might sell these tyres in the UK? I've done a search and can't find any. Matt |
