overland workhorse
Our overland workhorse that has gotten us in trouble and out again many times, is for sale. It´s a Toyota troop carrier from 2001, converted into a small camper-van with top-up roof, 60L National Luna fridge, 2-burner gas cooker and 40L fresh water tank. The car is powered by a 4,2L diesel engine without turbo charger, has less then 200.000 km on the teller, is registered in England but has a left-hand (European) steering wheel. It is fitted with an 85L and 135L fuel tank, has been treated with an anti rust compound, heavy duty suspension, front- and rear diff. locks, built-in air compressor and battery charger, solar panels to charge the auxiliary battery and has a Ebenspächer heater under the hood. We never used it, preferring to run the engine instead on cold days/nights. 2 spare wheels are hinged on the rear bumper.
In addition, there is a SUV quick shade, a shower/toilet tent; adequate bedding, eating- and cooking utensils, tools: small and recovery, 2 chairs with fold-up table, electric waterspout over sink and much more. All this you get at a bargain price: €28.000
