Did you check that both quotes were for the same thing? I tried a quote for 2 of us to go to the German HU from Hull/Zeebrugge. It went from £269 down to £44 :) It had taken the cabin off my quote. When I added the cabin back to the quote, it did seem to give about a 10% discount though.
