shipping & Using my Bike in UK (London)
 

Hi there
I would like to ship my bike to London throw airfreight and using it for few weeks during July.
I would like to know from where I get the temporary green card and is their will be any custom fees to be paid.

The bike is registered in Dubai, UAE

To the best of my knowledge there is little or no fee for temporary importation of a vehicle into the UK, there is a customs office about 2 km from the airfreight terminal at Heathrow which you have to visit first, remember to have bikes documents with you, not packed on the bike.
Insurance is another matter, nearly all foreign vehicles coming into the UK are from the EU so already covered by their own insurance and I know non-EU motorists struggle to get cover, this might help
