Strasbourg (F) to Uralsk(KZ) and back
Hello everybody,
We (2 persons, 1 bike) will go to Kazakhstan in late June and back through Atyrau(KZ)-Astrachan(RU)-... and - what will be the question ! - through the black sea (by ferry of course ;-) to Romania. I spent lots of hours searching the net to find THE ferry company by which it'll be possible to book the crossing... i failed ;( No doubt one of you have the information ! do you ??? (booking is important said my boss who really want to see me again on a specified date :rolleyes2: ) By the way, should you know about very nice places to see/to rest, fell free to tell me about :cool4: Thanks in advance |
traversées mer noire
salut,
sur le site caravanistan ils montrent les différentes options, apparemment il n'y a pas de bateau de la russie à la roumanie ! sinon il y a la bulgarie, pourquoi ne pas revenir par voie terrestre ? Mickael |
As posted above, check Caravanistan website https://caravanistan.com/transport/black-sea-ferries/
Worth noting: "Schedules are dependent on port berth availability and weather. This means taking the ferry is not for those in a hurry. Although the ferry can run on time, it is usually late. So make sure you schedule some buffer days in your travel plan." You can book online for a specific day but that doesn't mean you're going to travel on that day. Last year I traveled from Batumi to Odessa - the ferry arrived at destination 3 days behind schedule. |
