Travellers campsite Greece/Albania
 

I am heading off on my travels in a few weeks and will first head down through the Balkans to Greece where I hope to take a break preferably on the coast. Can anybody recommend a campsite or chalet type accommodation on or near the coast which is popular with motorcyclists and other travellers in Greece or Albania?
As I am on a long trip cost is a consideration so am not looking for a 5 star site but somewhere more reasonable, I have looked in the recommended accommodation section but can find nothing useful to me there.

There are thousends of nice camping places along the coast down to greece. During summer hollidays they are full with caravans & tourists but when i went in march too we hardly met anybody, had all the nice curves for our selfe and all the closed campingplaces were free :)

I am not leaving until about the 15-16th April so probably not.
That is a bit of a convoluted route, you haven't bought one of those fangled GPS things have you? :rolleyes2: can't beat a proper map!

That is useful, no need to plan then just turn up. If there is anywhere in particular that travellers tend to stay I would be interested but no problem if not.

doh I knew there was something wrong with the plan.:oops2:

I'll be hugging the coast cos it might be a bit cool inland. I'm hoping it'll be a tad warmer than currently in the freezing north. Also never been to Albania, nor southern Croatia.

Shame we won't connect.
