As Eurovision song contest takes place in Ukraine this year, then (at least for estonians and guessfully most of EU citizens) the borders are w/o visa from 1st may till 1st september 2005.

Forgot to add: sure no Carnet needed!

Right now, EU citizens don't need a visa for Ukraine.
However, when you visit Ukraine, you should consider going through Moldavia, too. You definitely need a visa for Moldavia. |
Vlad from the Odessa community should be able to help.

NB!!! Ukraine: re-check if "visa-free" info is correct. Just heard it's VISA-free only if arriving/leaving at airports. Certanly check is there VISA requirement if entering country with own vehicle!

Hi,
I am writing this from Urman, Ukraine. Entered Ukraina twice from Slovakia and from Romania, respectively _without_ visum. No problems at all (except from selfmade ones) and very fast (dealing with officers max 15 minutes). They did not even ask for the green card. Regards Lars |
Thank you for onformation it is great to hear that a visa is noy needed.
