Urgent questioon re kosovo-serbian borde
Got a problem, was hoping the veterans here could help. Today i rode fom sarajevo to pristina, via serbia. I lost my paper map for his morning, and so just followed he route that OSM gave me. It was a great ride, BUT it took me over a rowd between serbia and kosovo wher her is no border post. I didnt know where the bordr should be, but when i arrived in pristina without hitting a border, i figured there was a problem...
My forst thought was to ignore the problem, play dumb, go to the next kosovan border, and see what happens. Not keen on that approach, and it would not solve any serbia problem i might have. Next i thought i could just go back the way i came, and reenter. I guess it would work, although if i wre caught i dont think they'd apprciate me crossing the bo der twice rather han once... Next option; go to serb-kos border crossing, confess my error, and see if they will straighten things out. Or do this just on the kos side, and never plan to return to serbis. Got to decide by tomorrow morning, so welcpme any suggestions, especially basd on real world exprience. |
My only experience is that once you have a Kosovan stamp in your passport you cannot use it to enter/re-enter Serbia, you can use another form of ID if you have it though.

Well, that was a non-event; i left kosovo via the road to skopje, and they didnt say anything.
The macedonians, however, really stuck it to me--50 euro for insurance! 15 day minimum policy, even then very expensive. Mark, thanks for your comment, it helped me realize that no one might get too excited about lack of a stamp in a passport. |
Our politicians are nuts, greedy criminals. Welcome.
