weather in Finland...
I will be travelling in Finland for three weeks in July and would like someadvice regarding weather patterns/clothing/Temperatures (day and night).
Many Thanks Dave Lomax |
Hi !
Summer in Finland can be anything from 0-30 c. Usually warm but you never know ? Take warm clothes just in case and rain suit too. Hope you enjoy your trip... k12lt |
Right now its about 29 centigrade in southern Finland and has been that way for a few days. Looks to go still higher. July is usually quite warm, daytime 20-25 would be a safe bet. If you travel way up to the north the nights can get cool (camping is still ok with the usual gear). Nightime freezing would be very unlikely in July even at the top. In general the climate is less humid in the summer in Scandinavia than e.g. in Central Europe. But bring the rain gear for the occasional shower.

I've been doing a little research but wonder if anyone has some good advice about ferries from Finland to Sweden?
Matt PS: Sorry if this is hijacking, Dave! |
