Xenon lights forbidden?
 
Is true that in Europe is forbidden the xenon lights?

not as far as i'm aware, at least in france. I think it was talked about nut never went any further.

Xenons are standard fitment in many upmarket cars.

Thats right, Xenons or HIDs are "standard fittment" but are subject to conditions such as they have to have self levelling devices, and have to have cleaning washer/wipers.
Technically they are illegal without these factory fitted options, but there is a huge market for after fitting them as just bulbs and ballasts.
I have fitted them to my K1200s and it has been through a MOT without a problem, and really makes the bike easier to spot in daylight as it stands out :thumbup1:

Of course, in a fact, some European motorcycles, like Ducati, has an original xenon lights. I asked, because a friend told me that was forbidden.

But thank you very much for your answers. I´ll going to put xenon lights to my BMW DAKAR.
