Fred Hink
Not sure how many here will remember Fred, owner of Arrowhead Motorsports in Moab, but he was a steady presence for many of us KLR owners fifteen and twenty years ago--before Amazon, before Google, when information and community were harder to come by.
Not only did Fred have an appreciation for people and places and life's odd twists and turns, but he always seemed to know when I needed parts almost before I did, and when I showed up in person he insisted on installing them too, just because that would be a nice thing to do. Requiesce in pace. Ref: https://www.facebook.com/fredhink |
He’s solely responsible for saving my bacon more a time or two.
What a legend to have met. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
That is sad news... I always used to visit Fred when I was in town, and shared more than one hamburger and beer with him over the years too!
Sleep easy my friend. x |
Fred was a super bloke! He let me camp in his yard and helped sort an issue with my bike in the summer of 2000.
Rest in peace |
