Battery Voltage
 

Hi all

I just bought a couple of new120 ah AGM batteries for the van, I have put them on charge and they go up to 14v, but soon drop back to 12.7v, is that normal or are they knackered?

Hi Bruce, I know you have migrated to a posh Mercedes now, but some things work on any vehicle!....the best thing I have bought to keep my batteries in good condition is a waeco perfect charger. This is on top of solar and is only powered from mains voltage but my Iveco spends a lot of time parked up with power available. Before this I have had problems charging with solar only in the UK. They also trickle charge the vehicle battery so I never have starting problems.
