Why do you put 900x16 on ?

0.75 inch ground clearance extra ? up the gearing ?

i'm glad to get away from that tyre size onto a size that can be sourced anywhere and at a reasonable price

what tyres are you using ?

Old tires was 235/85 R16 more or less the same diameter as a
7.5R16. With 900R16 think the ground clearance rose 1.5 inch. On the other hand, my IVECO is light less than 3.5 ton and gearbox is very short with
900R16 improved a little. 900R16 tires are cheap at € 150 each in Portugal, for long distances I have to carry spares.
