1987 Transalp CDI (help!)
 

Help!
We (my friend Anton and I)are in Valporaiso,with one bike running on 1.5 cdi units. Its a 1987 Honda Transalp,which thankfully has 2.One clapped out,we´ve found a tempory on out of something else,but it limits the power. Does anyone have any contacts in Valpo or Santiago in this feild? Or experience in having a CDI unit repaired?Abit reluctant to do this as it is a seales unit.Unit number is:MM9 CIS29

Hi,

There's a few places on the web that are about fixing transalp cdi's. If it's broken, I don't think it harms to try and fix it.
